Parris Lacey, began his first training at Thomas G. Pullen Magnet Performing School. He began training under the direction of Stanley Reynolds (Marcellus Dance Studio). From there he sprung into the guidance of Dance Theatre of Harlem residency program at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He graduated from Suitland High School under the performing arts program with high honors. With a bright road ahead, he was accepted into University of the Arts on a full scholarship.

As Parris continued his training, he joined Eleone Dance Theater in 2000 and it only took his journey to a higher level. He has worked with choreographers and musical artist such as Debbie Allen, Louis Johnson (choreograper of the Wiz), Melba Moore, Vickie Winans, Marvin Sapp, Mario, Ronald K. Brown, Christopher Huggins, Kim Bears-Bailey, Karen Brown, Camille Brown, Christina Broadnax, Christina Aguilar, Tyce , Mario, Miguel and many more.

Parris dance journey continued to grew from tours including the MJ man in the Mirror Tour, TV/Film, choreography for the NFL and NBA leagues, as well as choreography and teaching around the world.
