Marcia “Msfancy” Smith is 21 years of age. She was born and raised in the nation's capital, Washington DC. She currently attends Washington Adventist University. She will be obtaining her BA in General Studies with a double minor in English and Public Relations and then then will obtain her Master's in Communications. Marcia started dancing at the age of 3. She began her dance training at The Academy of Theatrical Arts where she started her dance training in classical ballet with her wonderful dance teachers Rhea Jackson and Bill Garney. As she got older she began to train with other companies while still dancing with The Academy of theatrical arts. She has been a part of many summer intensives with the Dance Institute of Washington where she was able to study Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary and African dance. With these summer intensives Marcia was able to perform at wonderful places such as the Carter Barron and the Shakespeare Theatre. While dancing outside of school, Marcia also danced while she was in High School. She was part of the Albert Einstein high school Dance Company and junior dance company. She was also part of the Albert Einstein Pom Squad. Being a part of the Albert Einstein high school Dance Department, Marcia was able to perform at Goucher College, she also competed in the Allstate county competition.

On Marcia’s free time, she enjoys eating, singing, blogging, shopping, modeling and indulging in pageantry. Marcia was crowned International Junior Miss District of Columbia Teen 2011 and Miss Black International District of Columbia Teen 2011. Since then Marcia has been coaching young ladies in becoming pageant queens and modeling. Marcia has been the face and spokesmodel of many different organizations and companies since her reigns. Marcia has many dance goals for her career such as: Performing on tours with Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, and more. What makes Marcia’s dancing distinctive from other dancers is her sass,sexiness, stage presence and never trying to look like others around her. She always stays true to herself. She feels dancers are becoming clones and she strives to maintain her realness and 90s groove. Marcia brings the true element of Femme to dance. Marcia has worked with so many people such as Hill Harper’s: Dancing with the stars, The Fix Band, Devin White, Roc Mikey, and Latin Billboard Top 10 Artist: Jason Cerda, and more. She's also been a part of great Dance companies such as: Capitol Movement Incorporated , Future Shock/ Culture Shock, and Washington Reflections Company. Marcia is currently a dancer for Jason Cerda, Assistant Coach for the Albert Einstein Poms Squad, Dance teacher at the New Sewell Music conservatory, and company member at Capitol Movement Inc.
